HOME Helps: Legible from Across the Kitchen
I have 150/150 vision and when cooking or baking I do not wear my reading glasses. A timer helps me to be productive during waiting time, and to have one that is readable from afar is favorable over a mere buzzer that alarms only at the exact time. The LCD displays 1.5-inch high digits, can be set to count 1 hour and 30 minutes, can be positioned by standing, hanging, clipping or sticking on the ref with magnet, and is a power saver at 1 AA battery. Its clean geometric design in a 3.15 x 2.75 x 0.75 inch plastic case is an awesome addition to my minimalist kitchen.
